      Mitigating bias by creating space for honest conversations

    • We are helping our team members and even customers learn how to identify their biases and other behaviors that hinder an inclusive environment, creating an open culture where we then work together to mitigate them. We’re disrupting this status quo at scale because we believe an inclusive environment is critical to driving innovation across the globe.

    • Through our Many Advocating Real Change (MARC) foundational learning, we educate employees on unconscious biases and how they impact inclusion. This program consists of in-person or virtual workshops that cover such topics as unconscious bias, privilege, insider/outsider dynamics and gender role conditioning. MARC offers Dell Technologies team members a judgment-free space to examine their beliefs and grapple with challenging subjects directly and honestly.

    • Women in Technology (WIT) Consortium

      Demystifying STEM and STEM careers

    • In 2019, Dell Technologies and more than 20 key partners across the private, public and academic sectors formed a new WIT Consortium with the goal of getting more women into STEM by connecting with girls early and often. Together we’re developing scalable solutions that foster more girls and underrepresented minorities graduating with STEM degrees and becoming tech leaders.

    • Our partners at Georgia State University are helping us create a platform to deliver this educational content, which will include gamified learning, workshops and access to today’s tech leaders. And, we are collaborating with WIT participants and partners to construct an integrated index of data that organizations will eventually use to drive inclusion throughout the employee experience.

      Through the work of the WIT Consortium, we’re working to shift mindsets broaden access to opportunities that will ensure that girls and underrepresented minorities in tech thrive in their futures.
