    Building a diverse digital workforce

    • Technology is radically transforming every aspect of the global economy in front of our eyes. The future now belongs to those who can build digital technologies and use them to solve problems.

Understanding technology is critical to thriving in the new economy, but unfortunately many groups are at a disadvantage. Women, racial and ethnic minorities, and people from lower socioeconomic backgrounds continue to be underrepresented in the technology sector. This needs to change.

We’re committed to empowering people today, helping build a digital workforce tomorrow that encompasses all, regardless of race, gender, or ability.

    • Building the next generation of diverse digital talent

We’re helping minority serving institutions like Historically Black Colleges and Universities to equip their students for success in the digital future.

Project Immersion’s curriculum is technology driven and human centered. Key course topics include: Cloud Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Design Thinking Methodology, Global Supply Chain, and Key Business Acumen Skills to Thrive in Tech.

By immersing young talent in the latest Dell Technologies thinking and advances, we’re working to enhance academic and career outcomes for a new generation of diverse digital leaders.

    • Switching diverse adults on to computer science

In tomorrow’s workforce, digital skills will be critically important for almost every career path.

We’ve created scholarships for women and underrepresented minorities from non-computing backgrounds, giving diverse individuals a direct path to a Master’s in Computer Science.

Dell Align Scholarships are available at technology hubs across the US, allowing students to earn a Computer Science, Data Science or Cybersecurity degree in 5 evening semesters.

    • Re-engaging diverse career leavers

There’s more to life than just work. And, whether it’s to start a family, take care of a loved one or pursue personal or academic ambitions, thousands of people put their careers on pause every year.

Career ReStart is for when they’re ready to return. We’re committed to attracting and recruiting educated, successful,  professional, and diverse individuals from STEM and non-STEM backgrounds.
