As part of our efforts to help reduce the effects of climate change, we will halve our operational greenhouse gas emissions.
We will source 75% of electricity from renewable sources across all Dell facilities by 2030 — and 100% by 2040
Using renewables is essential in the fight against climate change. We’re 100% in support of 100% renewable power generation.
Energy-efficient products are important to the environment and to you. We’ll continue with this goal through 2020 and update it for the next decade soon.
60%We will partner with our direct material suppliers to meet a science-based greenhouse gas emissions reduction target of 60% per unit revenue by 2030
Our carbon footprint includes emissions our suppliers create as they provide products or services to us. So we support them as they work toward more renewables, greater energy efficiency, and better measurement and reporting.
Local action informed by local needs creates meaningful results for our communities. Over the next decade, we will continue to advance sustainability improvements wherever we operate.
Each year through 2030, we will show continued commitments to provide healthy work environments where people can thrive
All the workplaces within our business ecosystem must be safe and healthy for everyone. We will keep meeting industry standards and promoting them throughout our supply chain.
Each year through 2030, we will deliver future-ready skills development for workers in our supply chain
As the workplace continues to evolve in the digital era, we offer our supply-chain workers professional development programs to advance their skills, creating a win for everyone.
Our supply-chain workers have so much to offer — we want to connect with them, leveraging feedback mechanisms and digital tools to gain their valuable insights and innovations.
25%By 2030, 25% of our U.S. workforce and 15% of our U.S. people leaders will be Black/African American and Hispanic/Latino minorities
We’re expanding access to technology, training and education to widen our talent pipeline for minorities, so that they better reflect the cultural diversity in our communities.
50%Each year through 2030, 50% of the people empowered by our social and education initiatives will be girls, women or underrepresented groups
To align with our goals of increasing the number of women and underrepresented groups within the Dell Technologies workforce, we want at least half of the participants in our social and education initiatives to be from those same groups, while also including people who are members of underrepresented communities.
Employees who find meaning in their work are more fulfilled, engaged and productive. Our Tell Dell employee survey offers a voluntary, confidential forum to help us gauge how they (and we) are doing.
*This goal’s metric is based on the average rating employee respondents gave their leaders during our annual, internal and optional employee opinion survey of Dell Technologies employees, excluding VMware, Secureworks and Pivotal.
50%By 2030, 50% of our employees will participate in Employee Resource Groups to drive social impact
Dell Technologies’ Employee Resource Groups connect colleagues worldwide by gender, ethnicity, identity and various backgrounds, and encourage them to bring their authentic selves, diverse perspectives and collective voices together to help drive business impact.
Leaders who inspire bring to the table a broad spectrum of skills and talents — such as strategic thinking, listening, problem-solving and decision-making — as well as the ability to motivate others to bring their best, as well.
*This goal’s metric is based on the average rating employee respondents gave their leaders during our annual, internal and optional employee opinion survey of Dell Technologies employees, excluding VMware, Secureworks and Pivotal.
95%By 2030, 95% of our employees will participate in annual foundational learning on key topics such as unconscious bias, harassment, microaggression and privilege
As employee and customer populations continue to diversify, our foundational learning programs — designed to advance awareness and promote positive change — are vital to our continued growth and success.
1KBy 2030, we will use our expertise and technology to help 1,000 nonprofit partners digitally transform to better serve their communities
Nonprofit groups are powerful forces for good, but they’re at risk of being left behind in today’s tech-driven world. We will apply our technology and expertise to ensure IT helps nonprofits do what they do best.
75%Each year through 2030, 75% of our employees will participate in giving or volunteerism in their communities
We’re passionate about contributing to our communities, so we’re making it easier for employees to give their funds, talents and time to their choice of causes — rewarding volunteer service and matching financial donations.
We care about how we do business. We create a culture of integrity through our everyday business practices, new digital tools, and full employee participation in annual training.
100%By 2030, 100% of the direct partners we do business with will demonstrate their commitment to our values
The companies we partner with are an extension of our business, and must operate lawfully, ethically, and in line with our expectations. So we provide them with technology and expertise to fully support their operational integrity.
