• Dell products and services are designed to be as energy efficient as possible, but for customers who want to do even more to minimize their footprint, we’ve teamed up with The Conservation Fund to make a positive, lasting effect on our planet for generations to come.

    • Setting big targets and meeting them - early

In 2008, Dell set a goal of planting 1 million trees by 2020. Our customers also joined us in this challenge, helping to reduce our carbon footprint, restore native tree species and protect natural wildlife habitats. In 2017, we reached our Million Tree Challenge goal – three years ahead of schedule. We restored 2,000 acres of land – the equivalent of more than 1,500 football fields. We continue to support these efforts through our own giving and through the Plant a Tree program.

      Protecting and rejuvenating endangered habitats

Our efforts are helping vulnerable deforested areas and important watershed regions like Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge in south Texas – home to the last remaining breeding population of ocelots in the country. Our sustainable forest management practices also reach Big River and Salmon Creek Forests, improving water quality and habitat for the wildlife.

We’re not slowing down anytime soon

Together, we can do more. With 100% of donations supporting The Conservation Fund, our Plant a Tree program is a simple way to make a positive, lasting difference on the environment.

You can donate online by simply adding the Plant a Tree option to your shopping cart. If you are in a business, ask your account representative about adding the Plant a Tree option to your Premier Account.

The program is currently only available to U.S. customers. If you are outside the U.S., please ask your sales representative when the program might be available where you are.
