EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC) announced today that it was as honored among IDG's 2013 CIO 100. The 26th annual award program recognizes organizations around the world that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology (IT).

Tony Pagliarulo, Senior Vice President and IT’s Chief Operating Officer, accepted the award on behalf of EMC at the CIO 100 Symposium & Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, August 13th in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
