    EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC) today announced it has been named the winner of three Fall 2011 Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) STAR Awards for Overall Operational Excellence in Technology Professional Services, Overall Excellence in Field Services Delivery and Overall Operational Excellence in Education Services. With 16 STAR awards to date, EMC becomes the third company ever to achieve this elite status in the TSIA Hall of Fame for Lifetime Achievement. The STAR Awards recognize technology companies that display exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment in developing and implementing best practices. The awards were announced October 26 at the Technology Services World (TSW) conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

    The award for Overall Operational Excellence in Technology Professional Services recognizes EMC's global organization specializing in the development, management and delivery of the company's portfolio of services. EMC's professional services embody best practices and expertise to help customers build a resilient, virtual infrastructure that maximizes the value and return on investment of EMC technology, while accelerating their journey to the cloud.
