    Honda Manufacturing Recognizes EMC as Supplier of the Year

    EMC Is the Only Information Technology (IT) Provider to Receive This Prestigious Award from Honda Manufacturing

    HOPKINTON, Mass. - August 31, 2009 -

    EMC Corporation (NYSE:EMC), the world leader in information infrastructure solutions, today announced that Honda Manufacturing has honored EMC with a Supplier of the Year award. This prestigious annual award is given to companies in various key industries for their continuous dedication to Honda Manufacturing's success and for surpassing its standards for Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD). EMC was chosen from Honda Manufacturing's extensive list of IT vendors.

    This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment in 1959 of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., Honda's first overseas subsidiary.
