Bajaj Capital Chooses RSA The Security Division of EMC to Secure Online Investment and Brokerage Services Portal

RSA SecurID® Two-Factor Authentication Solution Deployed to Provide Secure Access for Online Investors to Justtrade.in Platform

    BEDFORD, Mass. - February 04, 2009 -

RSA, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE: EMC), today announced that Delhi-based Bajaj Capital has chosen the RSA SecurID® two-factor authentication solution to help secure Justtrade.in, its newly launched online investment and brokerage services portal. Through the use of two-factor authentication technology, Bajaj Capital is now able to offer online investors a comprehensive security solution engineered to assure customer identities and mitigate risk of unauthorized account access.

Justtrade.in was launched to Bajaj Capital customers in 2008 with the goal to provide online investment solutions across shares, futures & options, mutual funds and initial public offerings to the new generation of Indian investors. According to Bajaj Capital, the online investor portal is backed by comprehensive research advisory services and offers a first-of-its kind online financial planning tool.

“With advancements in technology, electronic transactions are on the rise and so is cybercrime,” said Mr. Rajiv Deep Bajaj, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Bajaj Capital Group. “By offering the RSA SecurID solution as an added layer of protection, Bajaj Capital is strengthening our commitment to security for our Justtrade.in clients.”

“The young Indian investor needs speed, reliability and investment information at their convenience. Justtrade.in has been designed to meet these needs and help advance their aspirations to create wealth,” said Vinesh Menon, Deputy CEO of Bajaj Capital’s Online Investment and Stock Brokerage business. “We decided on the RSA SecurID two-factor authentication solution because of RSA’s leadership in the authentication market and the solution’s ease of use.”

The RSA SecurID solution is available to all existing Justtrade.in customers and is offered as an extension of the value-added service of Bajaj Capital to meet the needs of investors who wish to increase their level of protection online. The RSA SecurID hardware token is small enough to attach to a keychain and contains an LCD display that generates a six-digit one-time password that changes every 60 seconds. To gain secure access to the Justtrade.in website, users simply enter a personal password and the one-time password displayed on their RSA SecurID hardware token.

“Consumers will conduct more financial transactions on the Internet if they feel secure. With the RSA SecurID solution, Bajaj Capital’s clients gain an extra level of assurance and confidence that their information assets will be protected,” said Mr. Amuleek Bijral, Country Manager, India & SAARC at RSA, The Security Division of EMC.

Since its inception in 2008, Justtrade.in has rapidly built a robust client base and has introduced a range of products and services customized for the Indian investor including innovations such as prepaid pricing schemes, online mutual fund SIP products, online financial planning tools and comprehensive portfolio trackers.
