RSA, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE: EMC), recently honored the four winners of its RSA SecurWorld™ Americas Partner Awards during its 2007 Americas Partner Conference. The conference is designed to provide channel partners with information on the security division’s strategy and vision, product roadmap, and future plans for the channel partner program as well as offering opportunities to provide feedback and input to RSA.
At the event, RSA recognized its top channel partners in the Americas for their outstanding performance in 2007 in the following categories: RSA SecurWorld Solutions Partner of the Year, RSA SecurWorld Access Partner1 of the Year, RSA SecurWorld Integrated Solutions Partner of the Year and RSA SecurWorld Partner of the Year.
“RSA has taken serious steps to add more value to our channel partner relationships through the RSA SecurWorld program, and we continue to support our skilled partners who are continuously developing their security expertise, as well as uncovering and driving sales that contribute to helping RSA grow its business,” said Michael Ross, area vice president for North American Channels at RSA. “We see our channel partners as an extension of our own sales and marketing team. It is a pleasure to reward and recognize top performers at our annual partner conference because it’s an event designed to inform, motivate and reward them.”
The 2007 RSA SecurWorld Partner Award winners are:
RSA SecurWorld Solutions Partner of the Year– Forsythe Solutions Group
Solutions Partners are those who have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to RSA, by maintaining sales training, technical certifications and joint business planning. RSA selected Forsythe Solutions Group out of 60 solutions partners in the US and Canada because of its continuous ability to perform. Forsythe was a top contributor in taking new RSA products to customers – like the RSA enVision™ solution – it was also the leader in providing new licenses to customers, a key RSA business goal for 2007.
“Forsythe recognizes the criticality of security to every area of IT, and has made security a priority for its entire national sales force,” said Anthony D’Angelo, director, Channel Sales, RSA, The Security Division of EMC. “Its success is a direct result of its commitment, relationships in the field, and Forsythe’s ability to collaborate with them as sales partners, at all levels of their organization. From business planning, to marketing events, to account mapping, the team at Forsythe consistently gets the job done.”
RSA SecurWorld Access Partner of the Year – Electronic Systems, Inc. (ESI)
Access Partners represent the largest percentage of RSA SecurWorld partners, tackling the largest percentage of transactions and addressing key markets for RSA. This award recognizes strength across various categories including revenue, collaboration, new business, regional impact and growth. RSA selected ESI because of its consistent performance over the past few years, significant year over year growth, and a solid pipeline of business.
“ESI has been one of the top 15 Access partners for the last three years, covering the DC metro and Federal business” said D’Angelo. “It has collaborated closely with the local RSA sales teams through joint marketing and account mapping, and we value ESI’s commitment to RSA, its sales contributions, and its overall impact to the mid-Atlantic region.”
RSA SecurWorld Integrated Solutions Provider of the Year – Gotham Technology Group
The Integrated Solutions award recognizes channel partner performance in selling across the entire RSA product line and embracing RSA’s information-centric approach to security. In 2007, it is awarded to Gotham Technology Group for being able to deliver significant value and revenue in all product categories.
“In addition to generating significant revenue for RSA, Gotham has demonstrated key behaviors that RSA values and rewards -- committing to business planning, account mapping, and participating in marketing strategy sessions to determine joint Gotham/RSA demand generation events,” said D’Angelo. “Gotham has invested in becoming an expert on the entire RSA solutions set and has made significant sales in all categories.”
RSA SecurWorld Partner of the Year – Accuvant
RSA SecurWorld Partner of the Year is a new award that recognizes strength and success across all categories including: revenue, collaboration, partner commitment, new business, year-over-year growth, multi-product selling, and impact to RSA’s overall business. RSA selected Accuvant because of its consistent committed approach to growing RSA’s business. Accuvant ranks in the top three RSA SecurWorld partners in terms of revenue, new licenses, new business, and revenue growth. A partner of the former Network Intelligence organization (now part of RSA) as well as a successful channel partner for Tablus, now part of RSA, Accuvant has embraced RSA’s expanded product portfolio.
“Accuvant has made significant investments in training and has built out both its pre and post sales and technical capabilities,” added D’Angelo. “Accuvant has become a critical and valued piece of the RSA channel sales model, growing consistently and making field collaboration and strategic planning a priority.”
The RSA SecurWorld program is structured to enable more channel partners to meet rapidly-growing information security market opportunities.
